Do you require a wig for medical reasons?
We have a wide variety of synthetic and human hair wigs that are suitable for persons undergoing chemotherapy or for
persons experiencing other forms of medical hair loss such as alopecia. If you are in the process of chemotherapy, you may
want to consider buying a wig that is one color shade lighter than your natural hair color as your skin tone may change
during treatment.
The type of you select depends most on your personal style. For persons who want the most natural look, you may want
to consider a human hair wig but remember that human hair wigs are real hair and require maintenance to keep them healthy
looking. For low maintenance, synthetic wigs are recommended. You can simply shake them and wear them right out of the box
as they are precut and styled and ready to wear. Some medically related customers prefer monofilament top wigs. The monofilament
wigs have a breathable lace cap to allow your scalp to breathe better and give the appearance of hair growing directly out
of your scalp. Either way, all of the wigs on this page have been best sellers!
Please don't forget to inquire about wig care products such as synthetic wig shampoos and conditioners.
If you are considering synthetic over human hair, using these products will increase the longetivity of your wig. If you plan on wearing your wig every day, it is recommended that you purchase two of the same wig so you can wash
one wig and have another one to wear while your other wig is being washed set.
If you only are purchasing one wig to start then we recommend that you consider purchasing a hair wrap or
turban to cover your head while your wet wig is drying. These can be found on our Hair Accessories page.
